Gabriel Barbalau

lets his double bass sing like a cello, the instrument that he studied for at the Conservatory in Bukarest. With the world famous ensemble "Ciocârlia" he did many tours and recordings. In The Netherlands he continued studying, now on double bass at the conservatories of The Hague and Amsterdam. He plays in serveral chamber music and world music projects. Oksigen is his latest project that will have its premiere in the fall of 2017.
